Euphoria is up there for trans people. specificially in the fact that the trans char (jules) is shown in a couple of het and les relationships and every single het relationship has an undertone of “this is terrible and she is being taken advantage of” and her les relationship with the show’s MC is shown as “yeah this is totally right”
like her whole arc in s1 is her going out with a bunch of older guys on grindr and being taken advantage of by a specific one, and then his son finds out and he ALSO takes advantage of her and catfishes and blackmails her. but then it’s revealed later that he genuinely did have feelings for her and it’s just
yuck. not great rep for “bi but predominately het transgirl” which is the category i consider myself falling in

perhaps it’s a consequence of the show though because there are no healthy relationships. It’s also terrible, like, relationship rep in general because literally everyone is in some kind of abusive drug-fueled relationship.
