ngl I beat my brother in my middle schoolâs geography bee because he didnât know how to pronounce a word
Pretty sure the kid in my grade, a 5th grader, won over every single other competitor from 6th 7th 8th grade

went to my stateâs bee in 6 and 8, skill issued in 7

i studied some but i think most of my knowledge was gained by accident from times when I was really bored and spent too long looking at an atlas 
got second in my schoolâs spelling bee in fourth grade. choked my way into getting out in the second round in both third and fifth grade. itâs truly impressive my spelling bee success is literally a bell curve
I didnât enter after that year cause I was real mad

I got to stay home and they had to go travel to another state to compete against other schools
