Cookie Thread Act 3: The Cookie Strikes Back

you claim to enjoy closed setups and yet you don’t enjoy all-amne setups. hypocritical much? :/ :/ :/ :/ :/

Oh also in case you couldn’t tell none of the mythics had agency over whether or not they won (based solely on initial wincon)

No it’s just that clocktower design is very, very hard

It’s far easier to make a shit all amnes than a shit closed setup

And it’s already pretty easy to make a shit closed setup

keep in mind the creator of the symphony all-amne game has created multiple purely homebrew scripts that are at least somewhat well respected by the botc community

Most of which are very mechanically solvable

they’re at least the mind behind new world chaos (don’t ask whether it deserves the respect it gets)

Yeah :wowee:

This is, iirc, the guy who said every all amnes script should be 100% solvable

No shame on him as a person ftr

this is probably a cold take but I think the Vizier/Investigator jinx is bad, like it basically hardconfirms the Investigator

whereas just having the Investigator work normally would be kind of useless (if the Storyteller chose to show them a Vizier), but like. the Storyteller can simply not do that (/not put them together in <10p games), or the Investigator can accept that they’ll occasionally learn useless info

True

Brainwasher is super funny in UFB tho so it’s ok

that jinx sucks because it makes investigator an outsider lmao. but also an easily comfirmable one

I really should’ve done the grandmother ET thing

Would’ve been so funny

tbh that’s way more reasonable for all-amnes than for basically any other script – if all the amnes manage to figure out their abilities and use them well, something which is Not Guaranteed, it seems fine for Good to basically always win in that scenario
