probably not, by virtue of human nature
it’s hard for humans to actually care about people they don’t know or aren’t involved with in any way
this is not just me speaking for myself but a consequence of our evolutionary history, there was no reason to care about the wellbeing of other tribes, all that mattered is looking out for your own family and immediate associates, and prioritizing them and your own children
this is why i wonder why people who become politicians actually do it. most political candidates just seem unhinged to me. it feels like they have too much money and just want power for the sake of it
