if, of course, she can take advantage of the opportunity. Biden’s campagin was mostly focused on “i’m not trump” which, while extremely true, is not exactly a good talking point for the swing voters.
kamala harris, on the other hand, as far as i can tell has some pretty good talking points other than “i’m not trump” that can appeal to the average swing voter (and perhaps bring back some of the swaying voterbase that was laready there)
it’s kinda bleak how much the rest of the world pays attention to US politics

and it’s hard for politicians to seriously care how they handle money that’s supposed to improve the lives of people they don’t even know when that money doesn’t belong to them
if someone gives you some money and tells you to spend it to improve the someone’s life who you don’t even know what are you supposed to do exactly
and this problem is made worse by virtue of the fact most politicians are not people who know the kinds of things people actually need because they aren’t from working class families and are detached from the experience of the average person

Politicians are the only people whos job is to be liked. When your job is to be liked it distorts you mentally i think. They do administrative work too but the pressure of “you have to be liked or you lose your job” is probably really difficult

however, i think it’s more desirable in the middle of “people have heard of her, know that she’s the governor of michigan, and that’s about it”
which as far as i can tell is mostly not true
not only does it have a clean slate on which to project your message, it also has a “people know of her” kind of thing that would be a roadblock to several people
