damn there’s so much red vs blue stuff in the US huh
my grandpa watches fox news I am lucky i never talk politics with him
YEP
you have no idear
we have a lot of parties here
one party is communist, but like the soviet authoritarian type of communist
another one is more pro-atlantic, like NATO focused
both of them equally hate gay people
And the words themselves might only cause small shifts in people’s perception but because when you’re constantly steeped in this culture where you can so reliably tell what somebody’s political views are from the wording they use people will jump back at certain phrasing because they’re used to it indicating a given set of values
yeah i really wish america had parties that you can vote for that won’t get donald trump or whomever eleceted instead
like.
what about the REFORM PARTY, AS DOCUMENTED IN THE JON BOIS SERIES “REFORM” (it is no longer even somewhat viable)
i wish america had parties (i was never invited to any )
i see a lot of people say
“oh voting is pointless since the democrats are bad too”
and im like
yes.
and now look at the republicans
do you think we have a CHOICE?
that’s neither here nor there tho
true
I’m looking at how wording affects political polling questions and this is unrelated but this is a great anecdote
yep
“traditional marriage” “biological female” “illegal inmigrants”
words that seem super benign but any american will immediately realize what another american really means when you say these words

“slenderthey”
the woke just radiates off of some of the “tolerant” left.
phrasing the… situation in the middle east as israel/hamas or israel/gaza or israel/palestine depending on how you feel about it
woke would have you believe that uh
uh
uh
uh
uh
uh
