I think rigging the role rand is Necessary in high power semi opens

Me and Icet have historically done a horrible job of defying expectations

This is mostly because there really isn’t many to defy tho
Rigging the role is something that should never be done imo
If u need to rig a role then thats probably an issue with your setup

Well
It allows a lot more flexibility with setups like Virtuous
In virtuous or Salem setups you kinda have to pray that the rand is ok
Because there’s so many ways to go wrong, regardless of what you do

The biggest problem with Salem setups are how you compose the town list
E.g. tp ts tk tpow
Role madness semi opens i can kinda see the point of picking out roles but i still think being able to hit random and have a good setup should be a quality of it

how do you feel about the Bop thing where you can ask for a higher chance of a ~high intensity~ role?
If you make everything RT and rig the rand you solve two problems in one fell swoop

if youre talking abt salem, town
it is bad and balanced bad yes
its just really hard to have such high power abilities with zero drawbacks on every player and not have the rand make the game go silly
