one time i decided to just transcribe the entire Unseen chat into my logs
learning that Terms of Service is only balanced on the premise that its players are either too incompetent or unwilling to parse its mechanics quickly really changed my perspective on it

there were a small number of fucking a-tier bits from the Terms of Service forums. one of them was that one time Swordsworth said they were going to host an FM game mechanically identical to the current mechanics of Terms of Service. this included scrolls

i remember playing an all any game in the year of our lord… i wanna say 2021? where someone was claiming spy and revealing whispers for it and i had to try to explain to people that spy hasn’t been able to do that for years at this point. you would not believe how hard it was for me to convince people of this
