the cycle of violence is something I would like a lot if it wasn’t done as much
well, and that it’s done so poorly
Cry
Cryer? Crier’s War?
so often it is abused people turning into abusers themselves which sends a horribly fucked up message that people who have been abused are dangerous people
I love cycle of violence when it does literally anything other than that in that specific way
if you squint hard enough cycle of violence is always that but I feel there’s a distinction to be drawn
I now have 2 books to pick up during my next bookstore run
i dont know about you guys but i like reading stories where people who are constantly suffering get to stop suffering
Ngl I don’t remember if i liked it or what the plot was - i read it a few years ago lol
Hope you enjoy tho!
So, like, would George Orwell’s Blue's Clues count?
During pride month I try to read queer books so I’ll throw it in that pile
i don’t know what this means
Or do you only care about wholesome stories where two friends hug each other and pat them onctje back and say their suffering is over now
only during pride month?

No no no I almost exclusively read queer books now but I make it a point to read some during Pride Month
i’m not sure how much of this is intended genuinely compared to sarcastically
