what if we made a puzzle game with almost no QoL features and several anti-QoL features and also everyone who’s finished it insists it’s one of the best games ever made
speaking earnestly, Void Stranger is really unforgiving and harsh but it’s one of the single most rewarding puzzle games I’ve ever played. and the soundtrack absolutely whips

It’s about a guy in a country colonized by the British who gains the power to force people to do as he says and attempts to use it to free the country.
I’ve seen the first thirteen episodes, and it reminded me of when I first watched Death Note (in a good way).
Would recommend the show. I’ve heard it gets better.

Considering that canonically America was still occupied by the British in the Code Geass universe, we can probably presume the war of independence failed if it even happened at all… which would mean the land’s culture would’ve been fundamentally Brittanian even if the country was American.
So you’re technically right, Lelouch isn’t from the United Kingdom at all; but practically any cultural background of his would’ve been more closely Anglo-saxon than anything else.
