they went in the direction of making omega strikers a casual game like fall guys rather than a competitive game like street fighter and I think that killed the game honestly

account leveling doesn’t progress anything, but character leveling does, so I’m not sure what exactly you’d expect there
and ranked progresses insanely lol the difference between Pro League and even Diamond is fucking lightyears much less plat or gold or lower

completely forgot they added character levelling. okay, so they did add some sort of progression months into development (possibly took more than a year), but I rememeber logging on and it was shit
