Still nearly bottom quartile, jsut because I’m average “for a woman” doesn’t change the fact that half of people are not women, I do not exclusively talk to women + proportionally long legs and short torso so sitting down I’m shorter + I was taller than my peers growing up so I constantly have mannerisms making myself smaller (I keep my shoulders inward and legs crossed and generally don’t take up much space) + forum user Someone techniques I generally have a mask and baseball cap on so I’m “less visible”

I don’t consider myself average height and don’t like being told I’m “actually average height” for a woman. First of all I am nonbinary. Second of all I don’t consider myself a subset of group “women” I consider myself a subset of group “people” and the fact that For Some Quality I am average doesn’t change the fact that the majority of the people I see day-to-day are taller than me
