also posts happen at same speed still, just for less time

no i definitely agree 12/12 has much different pacing than 24/24

Agreed I like 24/24 cause I usally have more time at nights currently and not being as stressed to be there in those hours I work is very nice.

How come people think mashes should have shorter phase times like, if there are more people, shouldn’t there be more time for people to have their voice heard?

i think the inherent problem is that games are expected to take longer if they have more people
though i guess that’s offset by the average 4 kpn + some dayvigs + executions + the clusterfuck that is ita phases

an average midsized mash typically lasts about 5-7 phases
playing a game as big and time-intensive as a mash, with 48/24 phases, would mean 2-3 weeks of just the mash

more accurately it’s just that it’s absurdly exhausting alongside basically killing the site outside the game for that period

12/12 sucks for me because my timezone is the opposite of Europeans so I get like 1 hour per day if I’m lucky depending on gamestart
24/24 means everyone gets a solid period to play in
