the second one was the bigger reason. you talked a long, long time about zorvo and eliza, but none of it was alignment related, and the worse part is that the advice you gave each of them had the attitude of assuming they were town. like, you’re telling zorvo how to be more threatening to wolves, and you’re telling eliza how not to get ml’ed, even though you haven’t expressed a townread (or read at all) on either. the troll read goes similarly nowhere, but it isn’t the same kind of borderline tmiey.

tbh i don’t know if i’m sticking to silviu at all? like voting okazo looks tempting, and i prob vote any of the current non-marl wagons to save marl.

if i did, and silviu died and flipped w, i might actually go for brad because him popping in with a shakily reasoned silviu vote and dipping, all right after i started really digging into silviu, is pretty bussy in a vacuum, while okazo getting wagonned next to silviu and not trying to shield or bus them is probably mildly >rand v if silviu’s a wolf. i probably wouldn’t kill him for that alone, just press him on it for a while and maybe pivot if i like what he does.

if v… i dunno, i usually don’t see v flips as particularly telling. i’d start with the same brad/okazo poe most likely, unless there was a super weird nk that suggested wolves are deep.

i don’t think any of this is actually super likely how i’d come into d2, though, there’s a lot that can happen between now and then and it’s really hard to predict how that changes my reads.

i think the may tr is being a little oversold, but they are pretty consistently villagery, and a few of the strongest trs on them seem unaligned from them

I was, and yeah, very similar circumstances, he seemed an obvious wolf but just… wasn’t. I think it’s part of what makes the O kazo vote feel like a ML to me. I advocated for it in Flicker because I needed his flip, but I don’t think that’s useful here.

KingTroll I think might literally just be Seth² and is readable much along the same ways. Him bluntly saying the “oh do you really dislike Seth that much so you want call me out on having the same reason” thing he just did felt a bit brazen to come from scum.

May I liked early and I can’t for the life of me even remember why.

Eliza the same. She vibed well while in thread but having seen her wolf that’s probably not good enough.

I don’t really ge tthe reasonings for a ton of these reads, mainly Kingtroll as thats just not how he’s been acting, and may and eliza feel like they should be lower.

I hate how Marl keeps saying this as it feels like a wolf trying to kill a LHF town and then deny it afterwards as “something we had to do eventually”. You can say you don’t know how to read someone, but I absolutely hate “it might be one we have to take.” That is so scummy to me

To be honest, even with you saying this, I’m really restraining myself from ramming that wagon into the ground for the sheer fact O.kazo plopped a wolfread and a vote on me for “tone”, refused to elaborate, basically said nothing in their interaction with me, left and never came back. I guess I could see a villager doing that but god.

maybe some wolves are just more badass than i am but i don’t think most wolves would immediately come in and shield may as boldly as marl and ybw if may’s a wolf? and then a lot of people accept the read but without much passion, which, if they’re wolves, seems more like conceding to the read than propping it up.

it’s not a super strong read of course, it’s working off of a lot of generalizations of how people tr’d may that might not be as accurate as i remember. such are threadstate reads.

I guess were reading it different because it entirely felt like “I’m doing this because I have to” to me, maybe because he did force himself to do it (kinda as stated at the start), but it really really felt peformative to me

That’s actually a good point, I think there’s a decent chance May is threadspewed unless we’re all just being gigantically snowed by someone who randed wolf for the first time (which has happened before but is quite rare).

For a moment I was like “Marl was recently a wolf in HTF, let me show you a comparison real quick” then I pulled up his HTF ISO and he actually never gave a readlist there, probably because he claimed mafia halfway through day 1

Comparing his reads in this game to his reads in that game, though, the content he’s given in this game seems better to me than the content he gave in HTF. Granted, HTF is kinda tainted by the fact he claimed wolf at some point, but I can still compare his content before then.
