This is difficult to say… but I agree with this sentiment. I’ve already subconsciously accepted a Frost execution today and zoned out, instead of engaging with the people on the block and the people around me. I pushed for a Frost wagon EOD1, and now that it looks like it’s happening… I dunno, I expected more resistance. I’m used to a certain resistance, a tension in the air, when a wolf’s on the block. It was there yesterday, but I’m not getting it here.
Maybe I’ll see about CFD’ing someone and getting everyone to hate me, I dunno. I think Gorta, Lissi, Lemon and Zone are Town; I don’t have a tangible opinion on Eliza, but I think Frost is suspicious. I want to keep an eye on Zorvo, and I know an eye should be kept on Wazza but that’s my head talking, I’m not feeling it.
I would disagree with the premise of blindly executing anyone, but I can see why you’d plan on that.
We could look into the Mist nightkill and hope Mafia didn’t WIFOM or anything, if you’d like?
Looks like you already tried that, though.
I still believe Town is primarily in control of the thread, although we’ll see what happens tonight.
I don’t think Wazza followed up on this.
This hasn’t influenced my read on either of your slots, and that’s concerning.
That’s it. Everyone’s settled on Frost… if he’s Mafia, that probably means his death’s been accepted? I could look at which players haven’t really commented on his wagon, not really engaging instead of bussing or protecting him? Would anyone else do that?
Was this expanded upon?
“I can see the things you’re doing, and you think that I’m naive.”
Killing Gorta always feels like a coinflip. I think it’d be best to look at the gamestate, whether people are talking about Gorta more or less than would be expected, yada yada.
This kinda bothers me? It makes sense, sure, but whatever. I won’t think about it.
Talk to me when you have a chance.
Yep, same as I thought.
I think I’m more motivated when I’m forced to explain myself, or interact with others. Or at the very least, I’m less bored. Bored all the time. Go ahead and wolfcase me, ISO me from the start or something, I’d rather be scrutinised because going under the radar isn’t fun.
Don’t worry about it.
I’m loving hearing Lissi speak.
Gorta is never wrong.
Alright, so Wind told me in AI Upick that Frost had a volume tell. A joke was even made about his name, “frost wolf”, as in “frozen wolf”. Of course, in AI Upick Frost was an active serial killer, but he was making bad faith pushes. In the game that just ended, Nightmare Woods, Frost slanked the entire first day, but was then replaced, presumably for real-world busyness. Wind also mentioned a game in which Frost slanked as Town, and she was immediately suspected upon replacing in. I can’t actually confirm how accurate the volume read is, but I’m echoing what I’ve heard.
Not Voting (4): ElizaThePsycho, Lissi, Magnus, Frostwolf103
It didn’t seem like anyone made a real attempt to engage with Gorta’s vote here. To check whether this pattern held up, I looked at Gorta’s other posts.
Received a comedic response from me, nobody else responded to this.
Responded to by Neon, starts a bit of a discussion between a few of us.
Lemon is making an actual attempt to engage with Gorta. In other words, Lemon is not trying to sweep Gorta under the carpet.
As shown here, neither was Mist.
Once again, neither is Neon.
In conclusion: Gorta isn’t being ignored, isn’t being hidden out of sight, but is being interacted with. You might call that NAI, but I feel like Gorta didn’t engage in wolf theatre with their partners in the last couple games, nor would most evils want to engage in wolf theatre with Gorta. I think that’s a gamestate observation.
Gorta wasn’t being actively pushed on the first day, either. I’m not sure what that means, exactly, since they’re usually pushed on the first day… but any of the active evils I’d expect to shield Gorta were engaging in a way I’d call unaligned, with the possible exception of Zorvo.
Zorvo never really interacted with Gorta directly, outside the whole PFP thing, which I think is NAI. This would be a strangely proactive defence if they were W/W, though? I don’t know if either Zorvo or Gorta have the credibility to survive this game if they were seen as aligned and either flipped wolf.
So in short, Gorta is probably Town. Perhaps I’m biased, because that was already my read.
Who is your town reads
Your scumreads
Can you explain these reads
Have anyone read you positively and negatively, does that help you read them in return? Bit too good to be true or feel threatened?
This actually bothers me about some players. Some people tend to townread the people townreading them, and scumread the people scumreading them, whether or not it’s actually deserved.
I am reading this through whole post, some points you made I already point it out in my own wallposts. As well think the same on several points however that is why I am pushing Gorta to keep D2 interaction going active
