Is There any way that Pronouns Could be put next to the name?

…That’s a bit of an odd title, since it should be possible with the “badge” system, but

Is there any way it could be done without both moderator intervention (to give people titles) and without people having to decide between having a title or pronouns next to the name?

And more importantly, is this something that people would want, if it is possible? I’ve personally seen a lot of people accidently misgender people on the site, even repeatedly, and it’s odd to expect people to constantly check a person’s profile whenever they feel like changing theirs, which does happen quite often

It might also work to put them under a player’s name to dodge the titles.

i’ll look into this

there’s likely a way but the difficulty would be in making it not look cluttered and clunky

if it’s optional it’s always good tho

you don’t even have pronouns on your profile. of course you don’t!!

ig lol

we could poll it (anonymously)

that would be preferred
could you mod-edit it into the op?

I’m personally not sure it’s that much effort to just click on the user to open their card, where that info is listed

Because I agree there’s not likely a super easy way to do this that doesn’t look bad lol

maybe add a checkbox in profile if users want their pronouns string to be displayed in combination with their title (if thats doable)

so for instance it would look like this:

orangeblackand5 [admin] he/him The Fool

or maybe brackets around he/him

with the same font used already. just a longer title

and if users dont wanna hit the checkbox dont display it on their title

that would be ideal, but m curious if its possible

and in either case, whatever implemention you go for, if you do, could you allow a checkbox for users to opt out of their pronouns being displayed next to their name at all times?

(can you include the fact that this is something the modteam is actually interested in polling instead of somebody on the internet)

(because if it was just me its unlikely for people to vote)

I think it depends on how it looks
it sounds nice in theory but I also don’t know where one could put it, without things looking cluttered
