I never finished sun and moon but all I ever really got was that the super, blindingly obviously-going-to-happen plot point where the ultra beasts were like actually highly related to the game characters that so glaringly obviously share almost exact 1:1 design features, never actually happened lmao

fire emblem fates is a similar game to the 3DS pokemon games in terms of being like. decent but in a way where it constantly shows off how good it could’ve been and then steadfastly Refuses To Be As Good As It Could Be

i mean that feels only a bit shy of 3H, which is a great game but clearly has too many cut corners to be truly fantastic
