Yeah obviously people will have wrong reads but it’s how he went about them to me that made me vote their wolf reads that I believed was town.

I ain’t backed against the wall but I am the villager that is the least Townie of the 3 players alive, meaning a wolf has been more Townie then I have.

Okay. First off, thank you for getting back to me! I appreciate you taking the time to respond! Hopefully, this will help ease your nerves by explaining my perspective. I have played a lot of different social deduction games: Town of Salem, Mindnight, etc. They all have their own unique functions and whatnot, so I wanted to understand how this game works. Yes, I was in one game before this, but I literally shot someone like 15 minutes into the game and then felt ashamed to look at thread. In other words, I didn’t learn how the game worked back then. Think of this like my first actual game.

In regard to asking questions, I ask question to get clarification bc I find comfort in knowing what is going on. I am not the brightest, so I want to make sure I understand what is happening before I blindly follow. If you still want to keep your vote on me, that is okay. I am going to take my vote off of you though since you did get back to me. Thank you again!

BIG POST INCOMING!!! @Achromatic (You wanted to see my updated reads). For everyone else, I am sorry. I wanted to make this short, but I also wanted to make sure I got everything across clearly. Grab your popcorn!

1. Magnus: I don’t know how much I can say on this matter (rules), but I trust them the most.
2. Achro: It is my kryptonite when people say they trust me. It blindsides me hard . Aside from this fact, Achro has been very supportive and has tried to advocate about what they think is best for me. Could this be a wolf just trying to help a new player? Yes, that is very possible, but I trust them anyways. (I will say I am both concerned and confused about all the pushes they are making. This could either be them leading the town to victory or spreading suspicion. I can’t tell which).
3. Jormok: He is a tough read for me. I have played games with Jormok, and they have a more relaxed playstyle where they joke around and vibe. (An example of this would be the whole spicy water post topic). However, Jormok’s detailed post of information makes me think they’re town. For anyone else, yeah you could argue it is a wolf making reads, but I feel like coming from Jormok it is town. I haven’t played Forum Mafia with Jormok enough to know if they would do this as wolf. I am basing this on my experiences with them outside of this game.
4. Demi/Arctic: I am putting them both together because I think they will flip together. If Arctic is town, I suspect Demi is town and vice versa. Unless something changed, Demi hard-cleared Arctic as town. There is a world where Arctic is obvi town and Demi is a wolf using that to give their reads some town cred, but I don’t want to live in that complicated reality. (I don’t wanna play mind-game 4D chess).
5. Zorvo: I feel like this is a villager who is very passionate and vocal about their reads. It is possible that they are wolf, but I think they are more likely town.

Wolf:

1. Lol: Despite me explaining myself and talking it through with them, they refuse to unvote me or interact with the other town members (at least from what I have seen). This behavior is typically evil in other social deduction games, so I assume it carries over to this game. If you are wondering what I mean by “this behavior”, I mean lack of cooperation and stubbornness with town. My apologies if this is rude, but I do think it is important to note this behavior nonetheless. Please correct me if I am wrong!
2. Drinks: Maybe this is normal behavior for Drinks, but a majority of their posts in threads have been fluff (random, unnecessary comments not pertaining to main discussion). Drinks is reminding me of the phrase: “saying a whole lot of nothing”. Most of their posts have been jokes (not in a mean sense) and haven’t been productive to town. This is a strategy evils take in social deduction games. Also, I could be wrong, but they never shared their views. This is suspicious to me. There are 2 things I find suspicious: Not talking and not cooperating. Again, I don’t mean this in a rude way. This is just my perception of Drinks so far in this game. Again, feel free to correct me!
3. Leafia/Tutuu: This mark and below is where I start getting into the gut-feeling territory. I don’t know what it is, but something about Tutuu and Leafia hasn’t been sitting right with me in this game. Leafia has been accused by multiple people and is now catching a lot of votes. Tutuu is very nice (so is Leafia), but I don’t know why I can’t shake the feeling that they’re being a passive wolf. I don’t really have a reason to distrust Tutuu. It’s not a matter of me being ungrateful for their kindness—I think it is more so skepticism. Maybe it is just the remains of my previous suspicions still lingering.

Neutral:

1. Doodle: I have flipped back and forth on Doodle. Initially, I thought they were a wolf, but now, I am thinking along the sides of town. If I recall correctly, Doodle said they were following someone’s readings (or maybe someone accused them of that). Point being, whether it was intentional or not, Doodle’s reads were close to other players. As a fellow new player, I don’t see that suspicious in the slightest. I have been doing the same thing. Yes, I have been deciding who I want to trust at my own discretion, but you all know each other better than I ever could. I need to use the deductions of others to make my own reads. However, this doesn’t clear Doodle for me at all. If I was a wolf, I would probably still rely on the reads of others to formulate my own reads (hence why they are at the top of “neutral”).
2. Litten/Etha/Zenon: I haven’t heard enough from these people to get solid reads. Each of these players did make reads, but I haven’t had the chance to look at them in detail tbh. For the time being, they’re all neutral.

Drinks: I would not put Drinks and Leafia in the same category. Drinks, in comparison, has posted very little and has not given a lot of reads imo. They have given some reads here and there, but it doesn’t feel concrete enough if that makes sense

Lol: I have said this before, but I don’t mind repeating myself. Lol is hard pushing on to me even though several people have said I am town. One of them being Achro. Unless something changed, Achro said I was their top town. They flipped town. It just feels like Lol is being really uncooperative and not considering other alternatives.

I would also like to add that, unless I am mistaken, neither of them participated in the previous vote. They both off-voted and didn’t change their votes or talk at all during that vote period. That isn’t suspicious to you?

I can say I’m town all day, and that doesn’t really clear me in any way. However, I think Lol being miscleared is a huge possibility. When I called out their suspicious activity before, people dismissed it as “Lol meta” or whatever, but I feel like it is very wolfy behavior. I am referring to not participating or cooperating during the voting phase

From my social deduction experience, evils have 3 basic playstyles (or a mix of these playstyles):

1. Quiet - They don’t say or respond to much. They want to fly under the radar.
2. Fluff - The ones who post (regardless of amount) but don’t really add a whole lot. They talk to give themselves town credit, but the stuff they are saying is either irrelevant or surface-level statements.
3. Chaotic - This type of evil will typically flood the chat/voice call and cause confusion. This is why I felt very conflicted on Zorvo the other day. However, I feel better about Zorvo now that we have talked it out. I typically find these players the most suspicious, which I did warn Zorvo about on numerous occasions.

The people who I feel fit this definition the most are Drinks (#2) and Lol (#1 and #3). Please read my read on Lol if anything. It has changed

(I have explained my read on Drinks before, so I will keep it brief):
Wolf: Drinks spoke a decent amount during the last voting phase, but that was the most I have seen them talk. It feels off to me. Also, I asked them for their reads, and they didn’t get back to me. It’s possible that they just missed the message, but it feels like multiple strikes in a row.

Town-Lean: Lol has been pushing me since D1. I will admit I am the type of person to typically distrust those who distrust me (even if I don’t vocalize it). Despite this, I took a moment to step back and ask myself if I actually thought they were evil, or if I was just being defensive because I know I’m town. Upon further reflection, I think Lol may be town. They have a huge timezone gap between me, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt on that. I still don’t trust that they were hard suspecting me through and nitpicking everything I did. It did feel like they were desperately trying to get me pushed. However, I believe a wolf would’ve backed down by now to avoid drawing attention to themselves. I am a player who several people had town-cleared on D1, but they refused to back down (and I think they still believe I am wolf). Do I find their playstyle suspicious? Yes. 100%. But I think they are town

I can’t really ignore this progesssion on lol, esp considering the fact that Merpy was hard pushing Lol d1/d2, yet after voting me over a wolf, decided to suddenly town read lol. I personally think they are just wolves together which is why tutuu was killed, and I think they both had tmi on each other, and this player realizes they can’t afford to get lol executed

Here’s the thing: I feel like they’re like too determined if they were wolf if that makes sense. Also, I am trying to understand why Zorvo would night kill Demi. Ig as a frame? This night kill felt rlly weird to me. Anyways, it feels like Zorvo is putting a lot of emotion into what they’re saying despite all of the wolfy things they did (in my opinion). Like I feel like it could be genuine. It’s hard for me to say tho

In hindsight, ig I could also argue that Zorvo’s sudden jump in determination could be them trying to rlly create a town case for themselves as wolf. Like they’re trying rlly hard to sell the idea. It’s difficult to tell imo. It felt more town-lean to me despite everything they did. Though, I will admit, it is hard to disregard what they did
