Omega Strikers FM - Saboteurs and Dissenter Win

`JulietteCryge

There are 2 scenarios:

  1. stubborn town
  2. early posters were town forming cores and Juno comes in with fire to cause some chaos as mafia

Prolly other scenarios but those were my initial thoughts.

Could you explain why Ai.Mi is obvious town at the time you posted that? And similarly, what is “outing” from Kai that you doubled down on?

Right on the money about Era’s reaction to Atlas’s vote which makes perfect sense as explained here.

This is the issue I have with Ai.Mi is that they pushed you for the exact opposite and then questioned you in a way that seemed like they were trying to push you for “being so sure of your case.” Something just doesn’t sit right in my mind about that.

Even though Juno doesn’t come off as the collaborative type so far based on their posts and seem to push certain things without much basis, there is something in my gut telling me they are town but just somewhat doing things that appear to be anti-town. I think half the stuff they are saying and/or doing are TWTBAW if that makes sense. And I realized their main pushes were Kai and somewhat Estelle as well which didn’t seem to really touch on majority of the initial tr players.

I do think Juno is also doing a thing where they are kind of talking to everyone in a similar manner and tone which might be town indicative since it indicates a lack of TMI when talking to everyone in a similar manner unless they are exactly the dissenter.

I could see why you disagree with the former and perhaps I can see the scumminess by advocating for your own lynch.

But with the former, why do you feel like it’s scummy to express that opinion with the context they did when defending Era against it?

The more I read some of Juno’s posts, the more I laughed a bit and enjoyed reading some.

Gonna do some more reading/catchup tomorrow but did some jumping around based on certain conversations and will aim to be on a bit more tomorrow and have a better worldview. Need to take a break for now.

This is my current view of things:

Competitor
Atlas
Era
Luna

Leaning Competitor
Drekar
Juno - pure gut instinct

Null
Dubu
Estelle
Kai
X - There was something X stated upon skim that I didn’t like briefly when stating how they tr Juno but were ok with the votes on them or understood them, but didn’t really do much to fight against the voters despite the tr. (Need to read more to get the full picture)

Slight Sabatuer
Ai.Mi
Rune

`JulietteThumbsUp

Just realized, is there a reason you voted Ai.Mi over Dubu when you did despite stating your suspicions on Dubu?

Did my vote influence you, and if so why?

I also don’t like how Rune recently commented on feeling that Kai is town and not really doing much about it either.

I still don’t understand why you think this makes him mafia… I thought his posts were fine enough. I don’t understand the wagon on him, either; I feel like people are just trying to disqualify SOMEONE rather than someone they are actually confident in being a saboteur (except Juno).

I think I would still disqualify Dubu. The way he approached the Kai wagon screamed of indifference and he’s had no other impact on the game… I guess he could be a competitor playing like this, but I really feel like he’d have started taking things seriously by now if he were one. He’d at least try to be towny… And while you might claim that he wouldn’t be playing like this as a saboteur, I think it’s possible this is a polarized player who randed antitown and can’t play it well, therefore trying to coast instead. Let me know what you think about this…

Speaking of that… I’ve already admitted to playing a role here, didn’t I? I feel like you’re just ignoring that in your case against me.

Juliette described the situation with my handling of the Estelle push very well. Thank you <3

The entire Kai wagon is off. Both for how quickly it built for flimsy or no reasons at all, and for how it was commented on from the sidelines.

Dubu had one of the worst reactions to it, but I agree that Rune’s was questionable as well…

The only person who seems to have reasons for Kai being a saboteur is Juno, and I don’t understand hers. I don’t know why saying defensiveness is an overrated scumtell is saboteur-indicative, and I don’t know why saying you can clear yourself is saboteur-indicative… @Juno Can you walk me through that?

VOTE: Ai.Mi

I think upon review once again I am here.

I’ll try to spend time to focus on this one later but I’m just popping in right now.

Holy shit. Kai had 6 votes…

Regardless of Kai’s alignment, there is likely a saboteur/Dissenter on that wagon.

If Kai is a miss and I know I am a competitor, then that leaves 4 of Era/Rune/Drekar/X and Era/Rune/Drekar likely contains max 1 based on interactions amongst each other unless there is a dissenter in there and then there is X. And in general, the odds of a wagon being pure there if Kai is a competitor is pretty low esp from my pov.

Even if Kai is a hit, there would still have to be 2 outside and I know I am a competitor.

That leaves Rune, Drekar, Era, and X.

Based off early interactions, we can rule out Rune/Era and Drekar/Era, meaning that one possible team outside could be Era/X/Kai which I suppose isn’t as impossible based on how Kai came in hard defending Era but I still doubt it because of my town read on Era.

I also explained the brief non partner interaction with Rune/Drekar when they both voted together on Era at the time they did and the response after.

So essentially, there is likely one max among Rune/Drekar/Era from a partner interactive perspective unless one of them is a dissenter. But even so, I town read Era and Drekar slightly. So that would mean another plausible team could be Rune/X/Kai but if that is not a team, then that further bolsters my opinion of that wagon on Kai.

So in my head there are low odds of 2 others outside of Kai even if Kai is a hit based on town reads and interactions amongst them. If Kai is a miss, then that just certainly boosts the fact that there is at least a saboteur on his wagon. I would say that also looking at it from a partner perspective that if Kai is a hit, the one person I would see fit in is X just based on the interactions/town reads unless there is a dissenter among Era/Drekar/Rune.

So I will likely attempt to read more on X tomorrow as well since depending on the read there, that would influence even more how I feel about that wagon on Kai.

But as of rn, my gut tells me that Kai’s wagon of 6 at the time had at least one saboteur/dissenter in it based on non saboteur interactions outside as well as the town reads on certain players that I have (Era/Drek’ar).

what made you change your mind and vote on Ai.Mi?

I know I mentioned a bit but still haven’t fully caught up with them/reviewed the rest of their content.

@Era @Atlas_OS since it would be optimal for me to bounce around your reads, what are your current reads on X?

And any thoughts on what I have written and my current perspective on the players?

X is in my pile of people who I could disqualify at this moment. No smoking gun read for sussing them but they have been unable to provide anything to maintain my read on them.

I have merely reverted to my previous interest in seeing Ai.Mi disqualified.

when you say maintain, are you referring to your initial slight tr on them that has now dropped over time I am assuming based on what you said?

Also, any thoughts on what I briefly stated about X’s treatment around Juno’s wagon?

Also regarding your reads and thoughts:
They’ve helped me crystalise my belief in the current gamestate, both in your own competitor nature and several of the reads I’ve held but have started to doubt and re-check.
