i feel like if you actually read the way the reads are presented there’s a stark difference

in the posts where she was a wolf, despite admittedly the logic still being mostly as good as it is here, the way it’s presented is different. there’s a lot more hedge, a lot more pointing out things which could also come from town, as well as going back and forth

but in the one you quoted from her towngame she doesn’t really go back and forth on the read she’s making on magnus in that same post (she agrees with his first point but doesn’t say it’s a reason for him being town). it’s pretty much just a wolfread

and i feel like her case on aelin this game feels way more assertive and lacking the hedginess of the ones you quoted from her wolfgame and it’s more in line with the one from her towngame

i am less sure on this than i was before because i have remembered that she can make logical cases as a wolf, but the point about the assertiveness still stands imo

Vulgard - as for me I can never be so sure of anyone being a wolf in the first round but here he has almost declared lemonfairy is town. Whenever I am mafia I sometimes just call someone who is chatting(posting in this case) innocent out of the blue. I believe I gain trust by performing such action.

if they poisoned a loud town player, it would give town an active leader to rally the game and someone people can sheep with confidence

it really does not implicate anyone despite how much you want to think it makes me a wolf. but if people like vulgard or may are not poisoned by lylo then yes i would be concerned. not right now though

But don’t they eventually have to poison the loud players? So wouldn’t it be better to do it earlier when there is less for them to discuss and also more players around and less chance for that loud player to figure out who is wolf?

Also, while you might be correct in theory for best mafia practice, I’m not sure that most players would understand that. I certainly wouldn’t. I think the impulse would be to take out the loud players right away. So I still do think the team would have to have at least one person who thinks of things that way.

Getting rid of other loud players makes it suspicious later when they are still around. And maybe they would think of things more like you do about what’s best in mafia practice.

BTW, just want to say I’m glad you are back and solving things. I’m actually feeling better about you in general. I skimmed over some of the discussions between you and Vul about Kanave and on the surface it feels convincing.

While I like the recognition of dedication, I’m curious why you don’t think a w!Arctic wouldn’t stay up for EoD like that, especially when he was one of the wagons and there are only 2 wolves?

no i would have done it as a wolf too because my last few wolfgames it’s been a stupid time for me and i got cfd’ed both times but i survived the second one lol
(also i swear i remember you making this read in PAC as a wolf so now i’m kind of going )

i’m actually not because i’ve always been of the opinion that it’s -ev to use because it gives town more information even if there’s a chance they read into it wrongly

and also it gives town another tool of being able to read into whether others have a lack of TMI on the real/fake poison which wolves wouldn’t really want to do

Yeah, I’m thinking they would want to save it for later when there are less players and when it could be useful to use on themselves even so that they can at least seem like the IC for that day and push for a misexec.
