It looks like Nokiel decided to self-vote, went to wolfchat and then was instructed to come back lol.

Nokiel all of my reads just slide off of and I think that’s evidence of newbie wolf behavior. However I can’t find any particular partnerships from her end and I’d like to hear what her voters think the follow-up is on her wolf flip.

I’m not, I really don’t see May voting Nokiel as their wolf partner and them immediately going to self-vote. If Nokiel is a wolf self-voting then they must’ve noticed the writing on the wall, and they wouldn’t notice that from… a single vote on them… which is from their partner in this world…

Check the VC from when I’m quoting, when May turns on Nokiel they are the only person voting Nokiel. Nokiel immediately self-votes.

my concern about this is not about them being w/w it’s more just a bad look for may because nokiel has been one of the most contentious slots so i would expect them to have talked about them more than this if they were actually trying to solve the game

In these posts, it feels like Arctic is trying to set up a misexecution after Aelin flips, while not arguing strongly enough against the Aelin wagon to actually prevent it - he doesn’t say anything about Kanave coming in late and voting him in the moment, for example. Those are the ones that immediately stood out to me as something to take into account later.

Okay I’m going to break the spirit of the question here and give two different worlds. Either beancat/Arctic contains a wolf, and therefore someone like you, Eliza, or Jar would be suspect, or beancat/Arctic does not contain a wolf, in which case I’d look at Nokiel and Kanave, placing pretty ineffective votes because they don’t care who dies.

With less than 12 hours left in the day, I think I’ve gotta decide who I actually want executed by the end of things.

In any other game, my immediate thought would be that Kanave’s a bad D2 execution, because her doesn’t lead us to a good understanding of the gamestate, but with only two wolves… I’m not sure we entirely need to worry about that? It’s not gonna be a situation where two pivotal villager flips build a good web.

The thing that gives me pause about the Kanave wagon is the way that very few people have placed votes so far. It feels like the wolves are happy to let her execution proceed, I think? But it could also be that they don’t want to look like they’re contesting the wagon in the case that it does go over, which they’d see as likely… Dunno. Not sure. I can’t find my footing on any strong opinions today, probably because I am doing the D2 thing again. I need more practice with this.

I’m not saying that she is a big pull on thread right now; I just that think she could push through a different execution if she wanted, because she’s currently widely townread. I guess her absence could make sense as wolf with Kanave, if she’s really not confident in herself, but I also just… generally townread her, so I don’t think it’s particularly realistic.

Kanave has not many posts but from what she does have I see an undue focus on both Eliza (early on) and Nokiel. I think her slot is the one I understand the least and want to see the most pressure on at the moment, I want her to commit to some arguments. VOTE: Kanave

Nokiel and Kanave are the ones who were wagons yesterday, and they’re the ones I worry we’ll lose the game voting out if we’re town, which is why I made that post - I want to look for evidence that they’re V/V, and because of how I’ve narrowed things down, that means evidence that Vulgard/Eliza are W/W. I don’t think Lemon is entirely clear , but I think the worlds where she’s wolf most likely include one of our two suspects here, and therefore aren’t an instalose if we end up voting them both out.

To put it bluntly, I think Kanave is a bad execution for today and people should stop voting her. It’s a gamble on a single possible scumteam, a gamble that can be a lot more easily taken by voting out Nokiel instead.

This all looks like pretty standard distancing to me. I got to the push on me/Eliza and I unfortunately think it’s towny even if wrong.

That said, it is a very convenient distraction from solving Kanave. May has been trying to steer the execution away from Kanave for the entire game and is still doing it now, I find it really weird. Never the top priority.
