Just reading back, it kind of makes me sad that my town game has basically fallen of a cliff compared to years back. Now I’m LHF. It honestly doesn’t make me very motivated to actually turn it around. Feels like I’m on borrowed time regardless and my thread position doesn’t lend itself to actually go after big fish even if I’d find them. Finding scum is probably my only potential salvation, but man it’s fucking hard. I should have retired with some dignity. That’s the pity party. Once I get back on my computer, I’ll give it a shot.

Let me first reply to a few things:
Windward
You maybe give reads, but you don’t push others to follow them. That’s what I’ve been seeing and I didn’t expect it from a traditional town leader. It can be a playstyle thing tbh. I didn’t give you a proper ISO yet, but that’s where the vote came from. I saw Lol voting and just thought it’d be good to place a vote on someone else before I’d leave. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have done so from my thread position and done more due diligence before taking any stance. This was not necessarily about your EoD, but more the general impression you had left on me day 1.
Wazza
I did care who the second wagon was. I had an incomplete readslist, but I was fairly sure Brad was town. I myself felt close to potentially be CFD’ed too, so I wanted a someone else in that place, also potentially generating more interactions to delve into after. I was not on board with Gorta for a CFD, since I did have a read on them:
And here you can see my internal struggle on Eli tbh. I did a rushed ISO, because I was not in the position to start up a CFD and potentially get the lynch on me. I had to follow one that was proposed like Marl did.
Leafia and Theworst
Leafia has their vote on Brad all throughout day 1, but spends most of it arguing with Frog. Not really looking further into Brad to be sure. Then EoD happens, where a CFD occurs on a different player than her target who ends up flipping town (Eli) with a very close TIED votecount. So the counterwagon to her top scum Brad ended up flipping over as town. The main pusher of Brad, 2Wolves, she thinks was real poisoned and Frog was fake poisoned as shown here:
This means that both EoD and scum night actions should actually have enforced their belief that Brad was scum, making a re-ISO leading to a completely different conclusion (without Brad posting that much new content) the next day very off.
This was especially off to me, because I actually started to think that maybe I was wrong on Brad, considering Eli sprung up with relative ease and I did think 2wolves and Leafia were town, starting out this day.

I’ll post reads on everyone after this post. I’ll put you on ignore for a bit probably, because I feel my WiM depleting talking to you. Despite you saying you argue only in good faith. I’ve become unconvinced of that and don’t think I can sway you until I’d hopefully find scum (or you are just scum and can’t fault you for trying to attain your win condition). As top poster and someone that is poisoned today, my energy is better spend on other slots than you.

Firstly, why should I need to comment that you were also on the wagon? That’s just not something conventional at all…? Secondly, we haven’t even interacted that much this game, so how is that surprising? Thirdly, I was drunk SoD and have probably missed it for that reason. I have read the thread, but not everything remains in memory. That’s only natural.

I notice that in my mind I confuse Ivy and Beancat’s posts sometimes It’s hard for me to read this slot, because they haven’t made any pushes, except for an unexplained deferred push unto me. They say this is their playstyle early on and I don’t think the reasons that they gave for a townread thus far were demonstrably false and some of them were even unique to me like this:
They seem more skilled than the space they take up for themselves in the thread, which is the only thing that gives me pause. Personally, I think it’s a lot easier as scum to just townread a bunch of players in the earlygame and not do much else, because noone will be upset at you. Their very first vote is like in the middle of day 2. Would like to see this slot be more vocal, but I guess everybody shares that sentiment.
I don’t think they deserve my vote currently however. Ending up at null to light town lean. /unvote
This is an okay entrance, they sound out of their depth and intimidated and I think it’s a hard thing to fake as scum.
Jumping on the bandwagon a bit…, but I do like this read. Brad’s alignment would help this meeh.
I like the backbone on beancat here in defending Ivy.

Bad vote in hindsights, but I can also most definitely relate to clashing with Kiiruma on reads. They definitely don’t hold their punches.
I like that they actively try to collaborate in thread with Frog who they view as town. It doesn’t feel slimy, because it’s both agreeable and disagreeable on points, so it doesn’t read as a pocket attempt, nor theater, because there aren’t really much fireworks. This really feels like they want to collaborate.
Oh, you changed your mind on Brad moving them more to null than these slots? @beancat I could guess why, but I’d like to hear it from you.
I like Beancat’s posting and would comfortable slot this into town now. They pursue their own thoughts, but still seek to collaborate with those they view as town. They have a bit of a shaky entrance, so I hope that their later confidence is them finding their footing, but that’s about the only thing I’d find odd about Bean atm.
I dunno, maybe you have? A lot of people play Mafia as a casual game growing up. I had over a thousand games logged before my first forum mafia game in 2013, but there were some mafia sub forums active before then
Note, I think this is bad, because I think 2wolves is town, but bean’s progression is there.

I don’t believe in slips, but I’m just curious if you were in fact Mafia, if you had meant to say that I’m poisoned today. As I said, I don’t believe in slips, so I don’t think this is the case, but something for post game maybe.
If you are Town, you would know that I was in a position at end of day to choose between eli and brad. We know Eli is Town. Do you think my alignment would be indicative if Brad were Mafia? What about if Brad were Town?
Again, probably a good call to ignore me tbh, I think you’d be better served doing work on other players
