Normally after Dust & vashes, it’s my turn to host Poppy Playtime FM, but due to so many games I just happen to start my vacation around this time of the year, how convenient.
It is a missed opportunity too from lore perspective, if you know what I mean with Hour of Joy.
While its kinda my bad I put it on Vanilla queue instead of Special queue. The design is…quote on quote vanilla, yeah.

What is more, is the co-host can help with main host to keep track of day/night actions and votes in the game while the main host isnt available (time zone related)
This can also help co-host in cultivating the experience of hosting the game. Vanilla games tend to be more relaxing environment and doesn’t require too much mechanical comprehension, especially in low-power games with villager as most common town role and goons as common mafia role.

Unironically that is a real thing that can happen as I have hosted virtually solo in the past before.
But yeah, what Frost said: They are meant to be available at times when main host is not. In particular for updating VCs and keeping track of actions when the main host is not available. (Primarily during day phase.)
Gaining experience being a host… IDK. I feel like I can do a quick 15 minute crash course about “how to host” when it comes to the mechanical stuff.
