Yeah that’s what I thought yesterday when I saw it, it was just being dramatic for the heck of it, like how Bionic was asking people to vote Hippo. I wasn’t sure what to make of it so I decided to ignore it entirely but keep it in the back of my mind until it became relevant.

Same here, I wasn’t concerned since he mostly seemed like he was joking around and fluffing
But pushing on Hippo to get him out early without questioning Hippo’s reads on, like, anyone else in the game is weird. It’s a good excuse to hide behind as a wolf, and I cant really see any benefit doing that as town. I think Bionic is smart enough not to read people solely on an OMGUS basis and hyperfocus on not being mislunched when he’s honestly not contributing anything besides repeating that he doesn’t want to be mislunched.

I’d come as tacky and not genuine if i said i cared about voting someone who was gonna certainly push me later, it was a gamble, it failed, at least he isn’t gonna push me (but the mafia definitely will to get the free 2 for 1)

What perplexed me is how it benefits town if you’re a villager.
Like, sure, town takes gambles. I’ve said dumb shit and bet on a wolf flip when the player in question flipped town, it happens.
The part I’m confused about is that you pushed Hippo because you were afraid of being mislunched, and now that Hippo has flipped town and you’ve been proven wrong, you’re still in danger of being mislunched anyway. For being wrong.
And I mean… yeah sure it makes sense you’d expect the consequences, as any alignment, but how does that help you solve if you’re town?

Cause when I realtimed with him I was like ok maybe he deserves the benefit of the doubt cause there were one or two towny posts there
I’m not going through his ISO to find them again, tho.

Idk how to read him. I voted him off of "if he advocated for killing hippo and then came in and started the day with, ‘oh too bad hippo flipped town, whatever’, and nobody is discussing it, then maybe he’s a wolf trying to skirt under the radar by being loud and confusing.

Which is like, not a great reason to vote anyone, I know, but it was a starting point to get him to talk and to get others to talk about his slot.

But yeah I do feel like a bunch of people followed me onto Bionic and then followed me onto sulit so I can’t tell if people trust me or if wolves are encouraging me to lead a mislunch and I’ve been super paranoid about it all day.

What I do think is outing is just the fact that your thread position has continually been “floated as a potential wolf, but every time we come around to tryin to wagon you we start getting pushback” just to then eliminate a towny who had kind of bad posts and was ultimately barely more than a shrug on most people’s radar.

Apo, can you find who pushed back on it, in the places where it happened? I know I did, and tutuu said Frost was in his new town meta
and this pushback only makes Frost wolfy if it’s from suspicious slots
(I’m tinfoiling Wind rn who I know also pushed against Frost’s elim, and is still doing so. so I’m a bit wary there. but like, if it’s just them, it’s not enough)

I don’t exactly remember who all other than Windward has been hard shielding Frost everytime his name comes up, and so I’ll take your word on that.

It’s one of those things where he’s continually been a wagon, but no one actually wants to commit to executing him, whether it’s because the vocal players immediately go “No, Frost is in his town meta” or because they’re shrugfully going “Eh, this other person is scummier” (said person proceeds to flip town)

Hell, I’m guilty of the latter, having been party to killing Hippo and voting derps yesterday.
