This is a pretty typical question for a host to answer. Itâs game mechanics.
Knowing youâre redirected is the more important part.
It just means you completely ignore your result and move on.

Itâs not like we can actually do anything with this anticlaim going.
Weâre either axing the cop or the blatant scum that is Idot and either way thereâs almost no reason to care about the game for the next 40 hours.
On the contrary, it tells you a lot depending on what result you get.
If you get a mafia result, odds are you either are specifically being led by a mafia redirector, or a town redirector accidentally put you onto a mafia.
If you get a town result, same thing except mafia is trying to keep you off a partner so look at your initial target harder, or a townie did something dumb and they need to claim.
Why Atlas?
It very much does pertain to this particular game.

The answer literally was about the fact that typically an investigative wouldnât be told who their new target is.
The modifier is an exception to this because modifiers can have a variety of purposes.
