Trust Fall [Experimental Turbo] - [1/9]

yeah, this threw me off. made me think it was brad and wazza, which got them to spite trust you

that was afterwards, I offered to him towards the start and then a little after the start, then I did the one that tricked arctic and then I genuinely wanted him to accept

Actually tbf I think wazza’s insistence to get crich to accept was okay, it made them look unpaired but the problem was there was nobody else to pair crich with besides brad who was the one to accept.

yeah I didn’t really think that cause wazza had basically nothing to lose

i thought wazza admitted she was only doing it to can the game lol

unless I misread something

idk I liked to watch it (the 2nd one, first one made me cry my fucking eyes out), was fun to host thx forp laying

that was after I had already sent it when I felt it convinced no one

issue with this is that the moment I got accepted by Brad it was gg for crichard anyway

yeah same tbh

@marshal

how would 11 with 3 mafia work out

everyone had a poe of you/crich/(brad) which was a winning poe anyway

I was thinking 10v3 (town needs 4 correct and Mafia needs 3 incorrect) for 13p

I think it’s roughly the same EV (Town needs 1 more correct pairing than mafia need incorrect)

well the 13p was 10 town 3 mafia

original setup was 8v2 town vs. maf but even numbers seemed super dumb because of the whole “have more mafia than town alive” wincon, plus 1v1 or 2v2 scenarios.

If you had to do this purely mathematically you’d offer to players one at a time and hope you’d get a good 2-3 players not mafia till you hit one

well yes but after people figure out how to play the game it’s likely wolves aren’t going to immediately accept trusts

They have no reason not to

yes they do
they can be “greenchecked”, allowed to powerwolf and decide pairings and then get killed in endgame

we like just discussed this but

for your specific strat, wolves could just, like, not accept and then the 2nd one could just accept the offer, offering no info

tbh in an optimal environment i think town would just coordinate who pairs with who and when they accept it

I completely agree but this is also kinda the same argument as “in an optimal environment town would just coordinate who detonates when in short fuse”
