I still don’t buy there was literally nothing Harris could have done or that shifting even further to the right was the answer. I do think they, in classic lib fashion, did not effectively capitalize on their opportunities after winning and got played for fools. Some people blamed Biden for the overturning of Roe, and you can call them stupid all you want but they were either surprised (immensely stupid) or thought it would work in their favor (likely) so they didn’t bother to even try to codify it into law when they could have. Just classic lib bullshit. Run on getting children out of cages and then leave in the cages when you win. Really sums it up.

Id do the same if i was in the position of muslim americans. Vote third party or not vote. Like voting for a person thats gonna keep aiding in killing my people because they are the lesser evil towards other people sounds like id be doing myself a disservice, like i dont respect myself. If they know they have my vote regardless of what they do to me, then do i even matter? What leverage / power do i have at all? Theyre just gonna keep getting my vote even if they say straight to my face they dont care about my people? Future democrat candidates will take it more seriously if they want my vote. Rough next 4 years but after that hopefully it will be better. Like some boundaries were communicated
The Republican party is fascistic. The Democratic party is proto-fascistic. Both are beholden to capital and corporate interests. The former wants a regression of civil liberties and cultural shifts away from prioritizing whiteness and Christianity. The latter is content with the status quo or social progress so long as it does nothing to jeopardize the interests of capital. It’s been this way almost since the beginning.
