Stop blaming anyone but yourself for the beliefs you have. Is what I would tell every voter.

I exist in the same media landscape. I exist surrounded in the deep south. I was indoctrinated and lied to.

I am here. I fight. I didn’t blame a democrat for making me vote for someone who is going to destroy LGBTQIA groups. Who is going to let Ukrainians be massacred in the millions. Who will bomb Palestine into a different universe.

There is no excuse other than the individual. I am the example of someone who has all the reasons to excuse myself falling into voting for evil. I do not want to hear anything from anyone. If they voted for anyone other than Harris, or didnt vote at all, they are disgusting creatures to me.

I voted for Harris despite deeply disliking her as a candidate. I wish I had the luxury not to. However, I’m not going to blame the people who didn’t vote or voted third party for it. I’m going to blame the institutions with millions and millions of dollars and the candidate with the microphone that ignored them. It was very easy to not support a genocide. It was a choice to campaign towards the center and appeal to right wing voters rather than your base.

And fuck you for calling anyone disgusting creatures and dehumanizing actual human beings. Those are the weapons of the enemy. We do not need them. We should not use them.
