Yeah those are very long words. WPM is more like characters per minute divided by the average number of letters in a word

Using the longwords setting genuinely cuts my WPM in half

Monkeytype is really good for getting really high WPM numbers
I get like 125-130 on most normal typing tests, 140-150 on monkeytype
Cause it doesn’t have punctuation and also is not distracting at all

okay so people are much bigger nerds on forums than discord. its like second nature to me to not type in a discord game if i dont have something to say. id rather not have to have that fear
